The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported that on Saturday a head-on car accident, near Henryetta, Oklahoma, claimed the lives of 6 people. 5 of the six killed were passengers in a vehicle driven by Jorge Salas. Salas was driving southbound on Indian Nations Turnpike when, it is reported, that he changed lanes and in an attempt to avoid another vehicle swerved into a guardrail. He then crossed the center median hitting another vehicle head-on. The vehicle that Salas hit head-on was operated by Russell Bowden who was also killed in the head-on collision. It is reported that none of the people in the Salas vehicle where wearing seatbelts.
