Car Accident Near Muskogee Oklahoma Injures 3 year old and Kills Woman

A woman was killed in a two car crash near Muskogee on Saturday night.  A 3 year old was also critically injured in this accident as reported by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol

Troopers state that Cassandra Edgar died after the car she was driving was struck by another vehicle.

She was taken to the hospital in Tulsa, by helicopter.  She was pronounced dead at the hospital

A 3-year-old passenger riding in Edgar’s vehicle was also injured.

Troopers report that the vehicle Edgar was driving was traveling on County Road 460 in Muskogee County when it did it failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a Jeep traveling north on U.S. 69.

Debbie Walls, the driver of the jeep was treated at Muskogee Regional Medical Center and released.

There were also two teenage girls in the vehicle who were also treated and released, troopers said.

The jeep struck the Edgar vehicle on the driver’s side door, causing the jeep to roll troopers said. Edgar was pinned in her vehicle about 30 minutes, Troopers stated.
