Chandler Woman Dies in Car Accident with 18-Wheeler

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a woman, who resided in Chandler, Oklahoma, died Monday when her car was struck by a tractor-trailer.

The driver of the car, Loyce Miller, died at the scene.  Rebekah Miller and Joyce Pierce were passengers in the car driven by Miller.  Troopers report that the two passengers were flown to a hospital in critical condition.

Miller had pulled her car onto the shoulder of the southbound lanes of U.S. 99, in an attempt to make a u-turn. She then pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer, the Highway Patrol reported.

Troopers further reported that the driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
